Danggongla Fm
Type Locality and Naming
Named in 1991 by Liang Dingyi and others. The type section is located on the western slope of Mayangpusela, Zanda County, Tibet

Lithology and Thickness
It is composed of khaki, light gray limestone. The thickness is 10 to 15 m.
Relationships and Distribution
Lower contact
It is pseudo-integrated contact with the lower Permian upper part of Mongzongrong Fm or the Xilanta Fm.
Upper contact
Regional extent
Mainly distributed in Mayang, Jiesheng, Mangzongrong, Manangyu and Bolin, Zanda County, Tibet. It is also found in Prandorjean. It is brown sparite with a thickness of about 15 m.

Fossils
Ammonoid fossils: Pseudocellites multiplicatus, P. sp., Leiophyllites sp., Eukashmirites acutangulatus; conodont fossils: Neogondolella jubata; bivalves Leptochondria minima—Zandaia angusta assemblage. In Prandorjean, it is commonly known as "Chocolate Limestone". It produces ammonoids Meekoceras sp., conodont Neospathodus cristagalli, N. dieneri, etc. The bivalves can be Claraia hubeiensis— Promyalina intermedia assemblage.
